Sophomore year: 1 AP Class AP World History: 4 on AP Test 1st semester: 3.8 unweighted 4.0 weighted 2nd semester: 3.8 unweighted 4.0 weighted Summer School at Community College: Precalculus : 4.0 Trigonometry: 4.0 Junior Year: 4 AP Classes (Physics, Calculus, US History, Literature) If I can't keep straight A's, do you think 1 or 2 B's a semester will hurt? Senior Year: Planning on another 3-4 AP classes (Chemistry, Calculus BC, Computer Science, Government) These Classes aren't very hard for the exception of Chemistry. So keeping a 4.0 my senior year won't be as hard as Junior year. I got a 700 on SAT II World History. I'm planning to take 2-3 more SAT IIs just to make sure. Right now after taking a few practice tests for Math IIC, I'm in range for a 770-800. I'm just starting SAT I Prep Classes. I'm aiming for a 2000+. My Diagnostic test was about 1770, so I should be able to make it. I've started volunteering at a senior living home and I plan to continue for the rest of high school. I was the vice president of the speech and debate team last year. I'm planning to start a national anti-genocide club at my school this year. I'm also going to be in California Scholarship Federation and the National Honor Society. I was on the JV soccer team last year, and I'm trying out for varsity soccer and tennis this year. Do you think my profile looks good enough to make UC Berkeley and UCLA or even a few Ivy Leagues?... read more
